1. How do I know if my items are right for auction?
A.
Get in touch with us at Lily Bids Auction House. We sell antiques, furniture, jewellery, collectables, silver, gold, vintage toys, automobilia, militaria, garden ware and much more. We can book you a slot to bring your items in and discuss what you have. You can also WhatsApp us on 07359 573660 with images of your items. Send us an email info@lilybidsauctionhouse.com with images attached or fill out the details in valuation and attach your photos.
2. I have a lot of items to sell at auction, are you able to come to me?
A.
Yes, we can come out to look at your items, give some advice and expectations at auction. We can help with facilitation of transport if required and organising of lots for a hassle- free experience.
3. Can I watch my items being sold?
A.
Yes, you are more than welcome to join us in the sale room as your lots go under the hammer or watch live online by clicking auctions and watch live.
4. Am I able to sell electrical items at auction?
A.
Yes, we will PAT test all electrical items to ensure that an appliance is safe to use.
5. What happens if a lot doesn't sell?
A.
We will discuss with you the different options available if a lot doesn't sell.
6. When will I receive the money for my sold items?
A.
You will receive your money as quick as 8 working days after a sale. You will receive your statement by email and this will include details of payment.
7. What items sell well at auction?
A.
Gold & Silver sell particularly well at auction. Unusual items, the weird & wonderful often succeed at auction.

Buyers FAQ's
1. How do I place a bid?
A.
You can register to bid by going to auctions in the main menu and clicking on the sale and register. You will need to enter some details and register a payment card. You can place pre-bids prior to a sale once you have registered. Or you can bid along live as the auction is happening.
For room bidders, you will be given your paddle number and you can raise your hand or paddle to bid live in the room.
2. How do I pay for my item?
A.
Payment needs to be made before 3pm on the following Monday afternoon. You can do this by a bank transfer, online card payment, telephone card payment or if you are collecting before 3pm on Monday afternoon you can pay by cash or card at Lily Bids Auction House.
3. Can you post items to me?
A.
Yes, we can post non-fragile items inside the UK. The minimum postage cost is £10.00 plus VAT, this covers the carriers charges & packaging. For larger or fragile items you can arrange for a courier service to collect and we will ensure that they are ready.
